How do I become a driving instructor
You want one of the most varied
Jobs in this world - you want to become a driving instructor - this is how it works:
Requirements:
(according to § 2 FahrlG)

Minimum age: 21 years
​
Condition: Mentally, physically and professionally fit
-> Verification by official medical certificate
​
Education: Completed vocational training in a recognized profession
or
Equivalent previous education, e.g. Abitur or technical college entrance qualification
​ ​
Driving licences: class BE (cars with trailers)
-> Class B driving license for at least three years
​ ​
As a rule, the prerequisites mentioned must be fulfilled at the time of the examination. Exceptions are possible.​
Education:
1 month introductory phase
​
7 months full-time course in a driving instructor training center (Munich has two)
​
4 months internship in our training driving school
​
2 reflection days in a driving instructor training center during the internship and
​
1 week of reflection in a driving instructor training center during the internship
Exams:
Driving test

Written exam
​ ​
Oral technical examination
​ ​
